Kathton House @ The Tyler’s Kiln, comprises a gastro-pub downstairs (The Tyler’s Kiln) and a contemporary fine dining restaurant upstairs (Kathton House), all housed in an historic and completely refurbished building in Tyler Hill near Canterbury.
The pub comprises of a lounge area, bar area and a snug room coupled with an extensive and beautiful garden, which offers heated and covered areas. The pub offers many local wines, beers and spirits, as well as the usual offerings, and the food is locally sourced, where possible, and is high-end gastro-pub style food.
The restaurant offers high-end contemporary fine dining at it’s best, with the usual personal service associated with fine dining, while not being too intrusive for that intimate meal.
Both venues are able to cater for any specific dietary needs, with most dishes being able to be altered to accommodate these requirements.
We also have the added benefit of the next-door guest house, Hambrook House, meaning should you wish to stay overnight or for a weekend break, close to Canterbury, this is the ideal setting.
